The 2019 NFL Draft is fast approaching and will be here by end of April, followed by mincamps (rookie and veteran) and time-off before pre season training camps start July. It’s onward and upwards from then until the much-anticipated start of the 2019 NFL season.
Below are outlined all the key dates from now until SuperBowl LIV in Feb 2020, Miami:
- Mid-April: Schedule Release
All teams opponents are already known and broken down to home/away, but typically the week before the draft the full schedule with dates, times, etc. comes out
- April 25-27 – 2019 NFL Draft, Nashville, Tennessee
- August 1- Hall of Fame Game, Canton, Ohio – Denver Broncos vs. Atlanta Falcons
The 2019/20 NFL preseason kicks off with the Hall of Fame Game in Canton Ohio.
- September 5th – Thursday Night Season-Opener, Green Bay Packers @ Chicago Bears
Celebrating the launch of its 100th season, the NFL is moving away from the traditional season opener featuring reigning Super Bowl champion, in favor of the NFL’s longest-running rivalry. The defending Super Bowl champions, The New England Patriots will play on Sunday Night Football in Week 1.
- January 4-5, 2020 – Wild Card Weekend
- January 11-12, 2020 – Divisional Round Weekend
- January 19, 2020 – Conference Championship Sunday
- February 2, 2020 – Super Bowl LIV, Hard Rock Stadium-Miami, FL
